Fathia’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Williams, come from a polygamous family. She attended Maryland Primary School and Maryland Comprehensive Secondary School in Lagos State. Later, she pursued her education at Kwara State Polytechnic, where she obtained a Diploma Certificate in Law.
Interestingly, Fathia Balogun Williams did not initially aspire to become an actress. She dreamt of becoming a lawyer, but due to the rigorous demands of law studies, she had to abandon her dreams. Fathia struggled with passing the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) exams, which led to an extended period at home. Subsequently, her father granted her the freedom to pursue her passions.
Fate intervened when Fathia’s uncle, Alhaji Fatai Teniola, asked her to stand in for an actress who failed to show up on set. Fathia performed exceptionally well, impressing everyone.
