Olabiyi Durojaiye Early Life and Education:
Olabiyi Durojaiye was born on February 8, 1933, in Ogun State, Nigeria. He completed his primary and secondary education in his hometown before pursuing higher studies. He graduated from the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies, Kuru, and obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from a university in London. Additionally, he earned an LLB from London and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1979, embarking on a successful legal career.
Olabiyi Durojaiye Career:
Durojaiye’s illustrious career spanned various sectors. He served as a Barrister and Solicitor at the Supreme Court of Nigeria and contributed 35 years to the Nigerian public sector. Notably, he worked for the Central Bank of Nigeria for 28 years, occupying various roles, including the National Ministry. He also gained international experience by working with institutions such as the International Monetary Fund and the Federal Reserve System in the United States. Additionally, he held a position at the City University of London from 1964 to 1982.
