Ikechukwu Onyeka was born on December 25 in Umuoji, Anambra State, Nigeria, a region located in the Southeast geopolitical zone of the country. As a young man, he recognized his interest in the world of filmmaking and dreamt of receiving the best education in this field. After a brief gap, he enrolled at the prestigious Colorado Film School in 2012, where he pursued a degree in cinematography.
Ikechukwu Onyeka Career:
Before embarking on his filmmaking journey, Ikechukwu Onyeka worked as an okada rider. However, his passion for storytelling and cinematography couldn’t be contained, leading him to enter the Nigerian film industry, Nollywood. Initially, he started as a property manager and gradually climbed the ladder, gaining experience as a production manager, producer, assistant director, and finally, a director.
