In 2015, he released his first official song, “Classic Man,” featuring GianArthur. The song received significant airplay and debuted at number 49 on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay chart.

Another notable collaboration was with Janelle Monáe on the song “Yoga,” which was released in March 2015. Jidenna’s talent earned him a nomination for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration at the 58th Grammy Awards. He also won the title for best new artist at the 2015 Soul Train Music Awards.
