Bolanle Ninalowo was born on May 7, 1980, in Ikorodu, Lagos State, located in Nigeria’s South-Western region. He hails from a Yoruba family and grew up in Lagos State. Bolanle is the second of eight children, born to Alhaji Jamu Ninalowo and Alhaja Rualate Ninalowo.
He completed his primary and secondary education in Nigeria before pursuing further studies in the United States of America. Bolanle attended DeVry University in Chicago, Illinois, where he obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. He didn’t stop there and went on to earn a Master’s Degree in Marketing from Keller Graduate School of Management in the USA.
Bolanle Ninalowo began his professional journey in the banking industry, utilizing his accounting degree by working as an accountant for General Growth Properties in Chicago. However, his passion for the film industry grew, prompting him to return to Nigeria. In Nigeria, he secured a position at Guaranty Trust Bank (GTB) while nurturing his interest in acting.
He made his debut in the film industry with the movie “Rebirth,” which aimed to raise awareness about HIV and combat the stigma associated with the disease. The film premiered in various cities across America, propelling Bolanle’s career and earning him the Nollywood Revelation of the Year award.
After a three-year hiatus from acting, Bolanle returned to the screen in 2014, receiving numerous invitations from movie producers. Undeterred, he focused on his acting career and collaborated with Nino Global Technology, a Nigerian-owned UK-based tech company, to launch a perfume brand. He also became a brand ambassador for renowned corporations such as Jagaban Distillers, Baileys, and DNJ Properties.
